Share your feedback on San Mateo's Residential Parking Permit Program
The City of San Mateo is asking for your input as we look to update our existing Residential Parking Permit Program!
The RPPP is a program that neighbors can request to prioritize street parking for residents by restricting non-permit holders to two-hour parking. Neighbors vote on whether to adopt an RPPP, which is typically used in residential areas significantly impacted by parking generators.
Please note this update isn't about expanding parking restrictions to other areas of the City, but is intended to evaluate the program's current effectiveness and consider options for managing the RPPP moving forward. There are several opportunities for the community to share their input, including this online public engagement tool! Your feedback will help inform the update and be shared with the Public Works Commission and City Council.
